What is binghamton senators?

The Binghamton Senators were a professional ice hockey team based in Binghamton, New York. They were a member of the American Hockey League (AHL) and acted as the minor-league affiliate of the National Hockey League's Ottawa Senators.

The team was established in 2002 and played their home games at the Floyd L. Maines Veterans Memorial Arena. The Binghamton Senators were successful during their tenure, winning the Calder Cup in the 2010-2011 season.

In 2017, the team was relocated to Belleville, Ontario and became the Belleville Senators. The move was part of the Ottawa Senators' efforts to have their AHL affiliate closer to their NHL team.
